By human strength: Nothing.
But the anchor is not culture.
The anchor is not government.
The anchor is God.
We Do Not Despair
We take refuge in the Lord.
We speak with biblical clarity.
We trust the Judge of the earth.
I. The Pressure to Flee
“Flee as a bird to your mountain…”

The wicked bend the bow.
They shoot in darkness at the upright.
The temptation is to RUN.

The LORD is in His
Holy Temple
His throne is in heaven.
He is not panicking.

II. God Has Judged Before
“The LORD tests the righteous and the wicked…”

“…And the one who loves violence His soul hates.”
God is not neutral about evil.

Snares, fire, and brimstone.
This is the portion of their cup.
Judgment is a certainty.

Noah’s Day: Evil was continual.

God judged them both.

IV. What the Righteous Must Do
Speak with Biblical Words
Stop softening the labels.
Sin is Sin.
Lying is Lying.
Adultery is Adultery.
Truth is Love.
Refuse Hypocrisy
Judge Yourself First
Remove the log from your own eye.
