Main Thesis
Jehovah’s Witnesses have redefined the Lord’s Supper into a ceremony where most professed believers are trained to reject the bread and cup. That doctrine is not apostolic, not found in the plain teaching of Christ or Paul, and cannot survive either biblical examination or common sense.

I. WHAT JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES TEACH
Let them speak for themselves.

A. They teach that only a small group should partake
Jehovah’s Witnesses officially state:
“Who should partake of these Memorial emblems? Logically, only those in the new covenant—that is, those who have the hope of going to heaven—should partake of the bread and the wine.”

They also say:
“What about those who have the hope of living forever in Paradise on earth? They obey Jesus’ command and attend the Lord’s Evening Meal, but they come as respectful observers, not partakers.”

That is their position:
• Most Jehovah’s Witnesses attend
• Most Jehovah’s Witnesses pass the bread
• Most Jehovah’s Witnesses pass the cup
• Most Jehovah’s Witnesses are taught not to partake

That is not a small difference. That is a complete redefinition of the ordinance.

B. They tie the Lord’s Supper to the 144,000
Watchtower literature also says:
“Today, there is only a remnant of the 144,000 footstep followers of Christ… Such individuals rightly partake of the emblems during the Lord’s Evening Meal.”

And:
“They are the only ones who rightly partake of the emblems of the Lord’s Evening Meal.”

That means they have created a system where:
• a tiny class partakes
• the many observe
• the “ordinary faithful” are effectively excluded

Inconsistency to Note When Studying with a J.W.
Ask gently:
“If Jesus said ‘Do this in remembrance of Me,’ where does the Bible say most believers should not do it?”

That question is hard for them, because the answer is simple: The Bible never says that.

II. WHAT JESUS ACTUALLY SAID
1. JESUS SAID TAKE, EAT, DRINK
He did not create a spectator ceremony

Matthew 26:26–28
“While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you.’”

Luke 22:19–20
“And when He had taken some bread and given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, ‘This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.’”

Biblical Point
Jesus did not say:
• “Watch this.”
• “Pass it by.”
• “Only a heavenly subclass should obey this.”

He said:
• Take
• Eat
• Drink
• Do this

That is plain.

Inconsistency to Note
If the Lord’s Supper is supposed to honor Christ’s death, why would Christ’s own followers honor Him by refusing the very emblems He commanded them to receive? That is upside down.

III. PAUL TAUGHT THE LORD’S SUPPER TO A WHOLE CHURCH
Not to a tiny inner circle

A. Paul wrote to the church at Corinth
1 Corinthians 1:2
“To the church of God which is at Corinth…”

Paul is not writing to:
• a secret class
• 144,000 only
• a heavenly caste

He is writing to a congregation.

B. 1 Corinthians 10:16–17 destroys the Watchtower system
1 Corinthians 10:16–17
“Is not the cup of blessing which we bless a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is not the bread which we break a sharing in the body of Christ? Since there is one bread, we who are many are one body; for we all partake of the one bread.”

That verse is devastating to Jehovah’s Witness doctrine.
Paul says: “We who are many… we all partake…”
Watchtower says: “We who are many… almost none partake.”

That is a contradiction.

Inconsistency to Note
Ask them:
“If Paul says, ‘we who are many… all partake of the one bread,’ how can your religion say the many should not partake?”

That is a clean, simple, biblical question.

IV. PAUL’S WARNING IS NOT ‘DON’T PARTAKE’
It is ‘PARTAKE WORTHILY’

A. 1 Corinthians 11 does not teach abstinence for most Christians
1 Corinthians 11:27–29
“Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner… But a man must examine himself, and in so doing he is to eat of the bread and drink of the cup.”

Notice what Paul does not say.
He does not say:
• “Determine whether you are one of the 144,000.”
• “Abstain if you are of the earthly class.”
• “Most Christians should decline.”

He says:
• Examine yourself
• Then eat
• Then drink

That is the apostolic command.

Pastoral Point
The issue is not: “Am I in a mystical elite class?”
The issue is: “Am I approaching the table with reverence, truth, self-examination, and faith?”

That is the biblical question.

Inconsistency to Note
Jehovah’s Witnesses tell people:
• “You should attend.”
• “You should be reverent.”
• “You should appreciate Christ’s death.”
• “But you should not eat or drink.”

That is not what Paul taught. Paul taught: “Examine yourself… and so let him eat.”

V. THE WATCHTOWER SYSTEM DEPENDS ON A FALSE TWO-CLASS SALVATION
This is one of the biggest errors in all of Jehovah’s Witness theology.

A. They teach two classes of redeemed people
Their system:
• 144,000 = heavenly class
• Great crowd = earthly class

But the New Testament teaches one body, one people, one hope in Christ.

B. Ephesians 4:4–6
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling…”

Not:
• two bodies
• two covenant classes
• two salvation ranks

Paul says one. The Watchtower says two. That is not a minor error. That is a structural corruption of the gospel.

C. Galatians 3:26–29
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus…”

Not:
• “a few of you are sons”
• “the rest are merely friendly observers”

The Bible does not divide the saved into “real covenant sons” and “second-tier faithful supporters.” That is Watchtower invention.

Inconsistency to Note
Ask:
“If there is ‘one body’ and ‘one hope,’ why does your religion divide believers into two spiritual classes?”

That is a very hard question for their system.

VI. MISUSE OF THE 144,000
They are using symbolic apocalyptic imagery to override direct teaching

Jehovah’s Witnesses build their Memorial doctrine on the 144,000 in Revelation. That is a serious interpretive abuse.

A. Revelation is symbolic apocalyptic literature
It contains:
• symbols
• visions
• signs
• representative numbers

Yet they use a debated symbolic number to overrule the plain teaching of:
• Matthew 26
• Luke 22
• 1 Corinthians 10
• 1 Corinthians 11

That is backwards.

Basic Bible rule:
You do not use a symbolic number from apocalyptic literature to cancel a direct command from Christ. You interpret the symbolic by the plain—not the plain by the symbolic.

Inconsistency to Note
Ask:
“Why should Revelation 7 reinterpret 1 Corinthians 11, instead of 1 Corinthians 11 helping us understand Revelation 7?”

That is a serious question. And it exposes their method.

VII. COMMON-SENSE REFUTATION
Sometimes plain reasoning helps break through religious programming.

1. Why would Christ command a meal for His disciples and then secretly mean that most disciples should not eat it? That makes no sense.
2. Why would Paul correct a congregation’s abuse of the Supper without ever saying, ‘Most of you should not be partaking anyway’? Because that doctrine did not exist.
3. Why hand people the bread and cup every year just to teach them to reject it? That is not biblical reverence. That is ritualized refusal.
4. If Christ’s blood is for them, why is Christ’s covenant meal not for them? That is one of the biggest cracks in the whole system.

VIII. PASTORAL ADVICE FOR STUDYING WITH JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES
Do not just try to “win.” Try to make them see.

Many Jehovah’s Witnesses are sincere, but trapped inside a controlling interpretive system.

When studying with them:
• Stay calm
• Read the text slowly
• Make them look at the words
• Ask questions they cannot dodge
• Keep bringing them back to what the text actually says

Helpful phrase
“I’m not asking what the Watchtower says yet. I’m asking what the verse says.”

That is often where the real pressure begins.

IX. DEEP PASTORAL STUDY QUESTIONS (ENGLISH)

Jehovah’s Witnesses have taken the Lord’s Supper and turned it into a yearly event where most of the people are taught to refuse the bread and cup.

But Jesus said: “Take, eat… drink… do this in remembrance of Me.”
Paul said: “Examine yourself… and so let him eat… and drink.”
The Watchtower says: “Attend… observe… pass it by.”

That is not apostolic Christianity. It is a man-made system standing between people and the plain words of Christ.

3. ¿Por qué pasar el pan y la copa todos los años solo para enseñar a la gente a rechazarlos? Eso no es reverencia bíblica. Eso es rechazo ritualizado.
